Moonlighting, a fabulous 80's detective show, similar to that of Remington Steele. Unlike Remington Steele however, Moonlighting broke the fourth wall on numerous occasions, making way for today's tv....
The show starred Cybill Shepherd,as ex-model and Blue Moon Detective Agency owner Maddie Hayes. It also starred then unknown actor Bruce Willis, as David Addison.
When Maddie's accountant runs off with everything she owns, liquidating her assests is the only way Maddie has left for survival, without returning to modeling that is. Upon doing this it is discovered that she owns a failing detective agency, run by wise-cracking, inuendo slinging, David Addison. Together they tackle the wonderful world of detection.....
Moonlighting ran from 1985 to 1989, producing 66 episodes in 5 seasons. There are many of us 'Blue Mooners' still lurking about, ranking from all ages and gender. For the past two years the cable television network, Bravo had been running our beloved show, but as of September of 2002, Moonlighting ceased to be aired on television.
